Majeed Ashimeru edging closer to joining Anderlecht

Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru is edging closer to joining Belgian fold Anderlecht, the player confirmed in an interview with Citi TV.
“Yes, my agent is working on it, but the deal has not been completed yet. In the next few days, we will know what the next move is. Right now I am with my family so hopefully soon, I will know if I am going or not”.
Majeed Ashimeru has struggled for playing time this season at Red Bull Salzburg, he has started just 5 of the club’s games in all competitions this season and will like move to Anderlecht for playing time.
According to reports, the 23-year-old will join Anderlecht on a six months loan deal with an option to make it permanent at the end of the season.
Majeed Ashimeru after impressing at WAFA joined Red Bull Salzburg in 2017. He has since then been loaned to Austria Lustenau, Wolfsberger and St. Gallen to develop and as well earn more playing minutes.
Despite impressing on his loan deals, Majeed has not been handed enough playing time by manager Jesse Marsch.
